Evans Surprises CMC Crowd in Australia Where “Kiss” Recently Certified Platinum

NASHVILLE, TN – (March 28, 2018) – Warner Music Nashville / Warner Bros. Records’ recording artist Morgan Evans is racing up the country radio charts with his debut single “Kiss Somebody” rapidly approaching Top 20. The singer/songwriter surprised fans with a performance of the summer anthem at the CMC Rocks Festival in Australia, where it recently received platinum certification from the ARIA. Evans return to the Land Down Under capped off a whirlwind tour of dates across the globe including Los Angeles, London and Glasgow in March alone.

"I officially moved to Nashville 3 years ago,” Evans shared. “After travelling back and forth for years before that, “Kiss Somebody” is the first song I was thrilled to get an opportunity to release from that time. It's hard to describe the feeling. Returning to my home country on the other side of the world and hearing a crowd like that singing it back to me like that really is the stuff my dreams are made of."

“Kiss” isn’t the only track Evans has on the charts; “Hooked,” a song he co-wrote with Dylan Scott, is also nearing Top 20 while his Eric Paslay cut “Young Forever” has been one of the most added new singles at country radio two weeks in a row. As the only country artist on SiriusXM’s all-genre Future Five for 2018 list, the Rolling Stone “Artist You Need to Know” landed coveted spots on several Artist to Watch lists from Billboard, The Tennessean, Pandora and more.

The Bobby Bones “Class of 2018” inductee was also named a CMT Listen Up #18for2018 and will continue to build his road dog status by bringing his captivating live show on the road all summer long (full dates below). At the helm of a loop pedal set up, Evans will showcase why outlets like Rolling Stone, MusicRow, The Boot, Sounds Like Nashville and more have touted his performance and musicality.
